Lews - Two Hits Of Acid And A 303 [Acid/Psy/Goa/Hard/Dark/Progressive/Classic Trance]
Probably more genres. I just call it trance, myself.
Anyways, this is something completely different for me. You guys have seen a few Progressive sets of mine, but this is a genre I've never touched before. My EDM childhood started off with Oakenfold and Digweed, but quickly progressed to the Magik series. On Magik Three Tiesto played an amazing song, Art of Trance - Madagascar (Cygnus X Mix) and I fell in love. I quickly learned about Simon Berry and started buying up all the singles I could get, which quickly led me to Platipus Records. I bought every song and every remix they ever produced. I loved this strange instrument they used in abundance, this Roland 303. I started looking at other "classic" trance artists and loved what I heard. This set is my entrée into this sound, and hopefully it turned out well.
I hope not all the songs on this set are too obvious or overplayed, because I really think this has a good flow to it. The mixing was a blast to do, as I decided to try to adapt my Progressive mixing style to this genre. Hopefully you'll agree that it sounds good.
Please let me know what you think. All feedback, criticisms, and compliments are appreciated. I hope you enjoy!
