Anyway if there should be probelms getting tickets to yoshitoshi night at the 23th?
EDIT:Price at door will be 30euros...which is less than ordering due taxes...that's still a lot but its not like ibiza so its good enough

BTW, next Sensation is next year, bit early of a question to ask
Thanks for the info but considering that I'm coming all the way from California I don't think it's too far in advance it all.

well it isnt to far in advance also nice to see that finally a foreign TA is getting info about dutch partys. 99% just follow the live sets and pictures resulting in buying tickets for sensation.
Is it a bad party then?
Well just as chicane said: it is about the show. That´s why it is called sensation. Id-t wants to deliver you a sensational evening with dancers, lazers, fireworks, acts, djs.
Well is that a bad thing?
No it isn´t if you like being entertained and seeing nice shows. Personally If I was a tourist in Amsterdam the only show I wanted to see is a Peepshow.
What I am trying to say is that Sensation is too much show and too little about the music. For me as an EDM lover it is all about the music. If you are feeling the same way the following festivals are much more interesting for you then sensation.
Dance Valley-Mysteryland:
Both great festivals, great line ups. All kind of styles are played there from techno to armin-trance to breakbeat to prog to Hardhouse
Awakenings:
Great techno festival
Extrema:
club/groove/prog/techno orientated festival with great atmosphere
Futhermore you have: (nice partys but not as good the 4 mentioned above)
Lovefields
Fast Foward dance parade
Defqon
Impulz Outdoor

In the city Dutch people go by nightbus, taxi, car or bike
In Amsterdam you can walk most distances

Thanks for all the great information. It looks like I'll be going to Dance Valley. The pictures for sensation look really great but I could kind of tell that it doesn't have the right kind of atmosphere.
What time of year is Dance Valley usually held? Do you know anything about how Q-Base went this year?
It sucks being over here in the states and not having any of the great parties you guys have.
Thanks again.
