For the half day, it was around 500 euro which includes 6 laps, fuel, the car, insurance etc. I did one extra lap which cost me a bunch more.
Driving from Amsterdam in my own car, the whole day was probably around 700 euro but well worth it for something I'll only do once a year if that.
The place I rented from is www.rentracecar.de and the Clio is the second cheapest in their range.
To be honest, I don't think I would have nearly as much fun driving something bigger, faster and more expensive like the Z4 since the little Clio was so fun yet so forgiving if I got my line a bit wrong or got too greedy on corner entry speed.

When I actually drove the Ring for the first time last year, I remember thinking about the places I usually crashed big in the game haha. Not good when you're going that fast
hehe I first got to know the track in Rfactor. In shift I often crash where Niki Lauda did
Too bad its not a full lap, as you have to go through the gates area, I gotta try to beat your time in Shift now

The Lauda Left isn't that daunting though if you carry massive speed into it and touch the kerb you can surely be bumped off line. Or if you get the entry wrong with massive speed...you're fucked. Getting it right is the key for entry into Bergwerk though which is important if you hope to leave it with any decent momentum.
The gates are good & bad I think. Good because it gives you a much needed break to get your head on straight again, even if you go straight back out. Bad because it upsets your rhythm a bit.
I've certainly gone faster in GT5 though I'll have to try it in the same Clio Cup just for shits n giggles

Nice, I had no idea you could do that
The most exciting thing I've ever planned to do is drive my Fiat Uno in a rally... the day after tomorrow

To be fair, Will has always sort of looked like a cancer patient himself.
