It's not our fault! When I was young I wasn't like this but my mum is a thera-- DAMMIT, AGAIN!

Yes, but I have this idea that there is a fundamental difference between PhDs in the STEM fields and those in the humanities, which originates from the increased focus the latter places on the communication and analysis of... OH FUCK!

Yeah... My buddy is doing his master's in philosophy and is moving onto PhD now....

His brain is great at philosophy, and very little else. Good friend, but only knows how to talk about one thing.

Also it's funny that anyone with a PhD firmly and unflinchingly believes their area of study is the solution to every problem known to man.

Philosophy is I'd say interesting 10% of the time, and the epitome of an internet argument 90% of the time. Quotes, not understanding what the other person means, and no solution to anything.

The guy that delivers my pizza probably has a PhD in Contemporary French Industrial Post-Cognitive Relations Studies.

I don't, actually. Sure, I love languages and linguistics, but I'm well aware we're not looking for the cure of cancer or anything of the sort

And I seriously hope I can speak about more than linguistics, otherwise I'm even more of a bore than I thought!

Not really.

Though that one spamming broccoli and asparagus was pretty hilarious.

I'm pretty sure the vast majority of PhD-holders do not think their area of study is the solution to every problem known to man lol

Real philosophy, done by smart people, is incredibly fun. The problem is that many 'philosophers' are not smart, they're only clever, so they play word games, and not the fun sort, which can be dull.

When one devotes so much of their life to one thing, I would certainly hope they would love it.

Yeah I get that. Clearly not what I meant though.

This reminds me I have half of a book left to read

I went back to my roots: I dyed my hair back to my natural blonde reddish colour, and I look fucking baller and cute. For some reason I lost my blonde hair and grey eyes at an early age; except I still have grey and blue hues around the iris. I look like Christian Bale now.

Yeah I'd fuck me.

I'd fuck my tight little hole.
