Haha I totally replied to the other post before reading this one. And here I thought I'd might stir up a little swedish shit talking, but I see my views where far from as radical as I first thought :P

And I can agree about them being, well not superior maybe, but let's say "ahead". I mean they even fooled the world into thinking Absolut Vodka was anything but piss, so that's gotta count for somehting.

Sweden will collapse, one way or another. The population is comprised of two different poles which don't know how to behave around each other.

Not to mention they're a bunch of communists.

I almost got into a fight with a road worker today. It was pretty hilarious. Especially since I had to drive past him on the way back, about 35 minutes later. He flipped me off with both hands AND stuck out his tongue like a fucking 8 year old girl. I almost peed my pants from laughing so hard on the way back home.

Sweden's a very tolerable society which has enabled certain minorities to go haywire and do whatever they want. I moved from Sweden a couple of years ago and never think of going back, although it would help my career tremendously.

Or does it have more to do with support programs and de-stigmatization of sexual assault? I really don't know, but you often hear projections about how most sexual assaults do not go reported; perhaps there is a cultural aspect at play in Sweden, and victims feel more 'empowered' than in other countries?

Maybe. Could be partially with the pro-feminist culture of Sweden which is often taken to the extreme. Nevertheless, I've lived extensively in two European countries which differ a lot and can say that in Sweden going out at night as a woman is dangerous, something which is not the issue in other countries, as far as I know.

It's immigrants with Muslim backgrounds, that come, often from war zones (read: desensitized), that come to Sweden (and Norway for that matter), are placed into schools, with little regard to the cultural differences. These are guys that are taught from a young age that if you see anything besides a girls eyes they should be punished, and also let's not forget the fact that non-muslims are non-humans, according to the same book. Better integration (internment-like camps with de-brainwashing and re-brainwashing before being let out in society), stronger punishment for offenders, and they need to fucking break up the ghetto that is Malmö. It may sound harsh but they are practicing fucking Sharia law. In SCANDINAVIA!

I think Scandinavia, at least Norway, has some of the most gender equal societies in the western world. Women usually get paid the same as men, and I've never ever been under the impression that there are professions women can't do. If anything I might put women slightly above men on the social ladder. I know about half of the men in Norway would disagree with that statement, but I dunno.. I think we're pretty progressive on this field up here in the North. That and a few other ones. But we are in general too hmm trusting and kinda pushovers.. It's like there's no "Enough bullshit"-switch here.

ah med school.. starting pay as an intern or what u call Scrubs-type doctors iiiis.. about 55 thousand euros a year. But start your own practice and youll easily get like 160-170 000..

But those seemed to be the top offenders when we had our rape-spike a couple of years ago. Can't say I've heard about too many rapes lately, apart from when this 16 year old got abducted and killed. An awful lot of people got inspired by that

My intent is to jump into residency (specialization) as fast as possible so money isn't that important for the time being. I do, however, feel it's shitty to pay 33% taxes that go to the welfare of the people who are robbing my home while I'm out working for them. Has happened. My mother's place got robbed twice within one month. She lives the Malmö. The perpetrators? Two 16-year old Iraqis.

Ideal for me would be either Switzerland or England, but learning German is hell and England seems to have the same type of problems Sweden's having as well. I would however like to hook up with a cute English girl who can read to me bed-time stories in an English accent, but that's en entirely different story

And let's be honest, Norwegian isn't the easiest language to understand, verbally, either.

Prolly a bit of both - opportunists, combined with a young and good looking female population are factors, and then the rate itself being so high is probably a higher than normal (comparatively to other countries) rate of reporting.

I have one friend study at USC and she said rapes on campus/housing (albeit usually, but not limited to, date rapes) are a nightly occurrence, if not several cases a night and virtually none go reported. She said out of 11 girls she heard of it happening to only one reported, but only to the school and she wouldn't file a police report.

That's truly terrible for Sweden.
