By posting one link you actually think you can generalize "anti-war" mongerers as not knowing anything?
Maybe if you look more closely at this war, you will see that it has and will do more damge than good in the future.
The 100 billion its costing this war could have been used to feed every single mouth on earth, and also find the cure for aids as experts and activists have proclaimed recently.
But,, its being used to kill a society for their oil! |

yes...it's being used to kill of a murderous society filled with tryanny and murder which will not end until something is done...and the oil, once the war is said and done, will come because its just there...oil being the sole PURPOSE of this war to me is just ludicrous but i do respect your opinion...as everyone have different views on this war |

I heard that bit before and its laughable.
It reminds me of Fox news!
Seriously, taking out Saddam the way the US is doing now is the easy solution. Unfortunnatly, the US have forgot about the mid to long term consequences of this war. |

The point im trying to make is that the investment of this money on thie senseless war could be used to save a greater number of lives now and prevent more death in the future (i.e no more HIV infections)
It is estimated that 70 million people will die of AIDS by 2022. Why not save all those lives with a cure, or prevent those who will become infected in the future with a functioning vaccine? This Virus is reaking havoc in the world, a silent killer. Why dont we liberate our selves from a more dangerous culpret like AIDS, which will do way more harm than Saddam in the coming future |

it's true that there are alot of anti-war ppl who dont know what they're talking abt but then the same can be said abt the war supporters...so this doesn't really prove anything new |

This is the third time this has been posted. Here is my answer from another thread
http://tester.tranceaddict.com/foru...&threadid=98067
The interviewer asks how exactly will leaving Saddamn in Power promote peace and justice in iraq.
The answer is it doesnt. However, neither does the US attacking. Either option will leave people dead, and it's very hard to tell what will happen longterm now that the US has attacked. It's equally hard to determine what the future of iraq would have been, if saddamn had been left in power.
this is not the point though. The point It is not the place of the USA to decide what countries need liberating, and then to ignore international opinion when it does not agree.
My outrage at the war stems from the unilateral use of force by the US and UK, the ignorance of the reprecussions throughout the middle east, and my strong feelings that this war is more about securing oil (not to mention keeping rivals from securing it as well).
The man on this clip has a valid point, but it does not mean that we should have attacked. |
