k heres a (hopefully) closing statement
its obvious why many are supportive of the war...its cos they are americans and of course one would be patriotic and support ur country..i wouldnt blame u for being patriotic....
we all have our views on this...however its not like things will change by us ponintlessly arguing it over here...
now that the war has started, all we can do is hope it will end VERY soon and that it wasnt a just a waste of resources...
i cant remember who assumed but no im not a muslim. im not even arab. i was born and raised in the middle east and have seen both sides to the stories..
and NO i dont think Hussein is a saint..but IMO Bush is as evil as him.. |

And don't blame it all on france, Russia and China would have most probably vetoed it also, and US would hardly get 9/16 votes from the security council. And btw, disarmament process isn't a process that is finished in 2 days. It takes at least several months to disarm a country. Besides, I don't see how France screwed up weapons inspections when it asked, together with Germany to triple the amount of the inspectors in Iraq. And guess which country put a veto on that decision. Why, it was the US, surprise, surprise. So much for who screwed up the inspections. Also a reminder, the first inspections which ended in 1998 were canceled by Bill Clinton. That is, if weapons of which the country should be disarmed of exist, which has not been proven.
PS, go arguing on the political forum about matters like this, that's why it exist, right? |

an opinion is one thing..to spit out absurd crap is another...in no way is Bush as evil as Hussein...Bush does not kill his own people, does not test chemical and bilogical weapons on innocent people, does not set up rapes of women, does not put people in plastic shredders feet first to scream to their deaths and the list goes on and on...how can u honestly say that he is as evil as Hussein.....be real...dont say he is jus cus u dont liek him...or maybe ur unaware of what the word evil means. |
