you can't press 2 tracks
like the dude at CSR said, you can press them as acetates but the quality will be shocking and they have a life of I think 5 or so plays?
if you wanna press a vinyl you gotta do it in bulk and its very expensive |

acetate dub plates are said to hold at the most 30 plays depending on how they are cut.
learn more about the subject here -> www.vinylium.ch
don't bother with vinyl, the expense is in the master press molds and ... well if you're pressing only two vinyls, don't even bother.
CD R all the way baby :p it's sad but it's that way |

There is another way;
Vestax released a vinyl 'cutter' rather than a press.
Now, im not sure of life of cut vinyls, but this seems like it would be an easier way to go.
The setup costs abt $18 000, so only businesses really would have them.
I havent looked into much, just saw the contraption when i went to buy my decks :) |

Vestax revolutionized the market by releasing a vinyl cutter that does higher quality dub plates. While the idea is fantastic, go and try to find a business equiped with one :disbelief
I haven't :nervous:
the life of those vinyls is said to be similar to those of "real" pressed vinyl, because the materials used for doing the plates is of superior quality and much more wear proof. |
