CGY Connected V6 Turbo

Drove down from edmonton...turned out to be a pretty average party. Sound system and lights were average (not that those factors make the party, but I was expecting something special after Fehrenheit's buildup of their sound systems). Music was crap after 1 am, so it got more and more boring as the night progressed. At one point I found myself playing "spot the candy kid" while sitting in the stands. People seemed to be having fun though and everyone had a good attitude so it wasn't all bad.

I got kicked out for smoking a cigarette at 6 in the morning. That was kinda lame, especially considering there's no "no smoking" signs in there and they'd closed the smokers area outside at 5:30. Security were asses about it but there's not too much I can say 'cause I guess I broke the rules.

Definetly NOT worth the 6 hour drive it took to get down there (damned april snow). It would barely have been worth the 3 hours it usually takes.

If you didn't go to this party, you didn't miss much.

Oh ya, DJ Shockwav, you were correct. DJ Sneak and Sandra Collins didn't even play 'cause of the airport closing.

Connected events are never meant to a crazy hard show music wise..

The headliners well nothing could be done about that situation, i mean with the weather they could of just cancelled the whole event

But yeah i am looking forward To canada day a whole lot more, its going to be a crazy show as every year its always my favourite yearly massive

Connected was wicked.
its a house rave..If I expected trance or Harder styles, I would have been dissapointed.

yeah, sneak and sandra and the lazer all got stuck and didnt make it. It took tryptomene 9 hours to drive down.
I flyered the entire parking lot in that knee deep slush, and it took me an hour.(actually pretty quick if you ask me)

but ya, Dom played wicked Bangin house, troy played really good HH/HT after that, then came BLC..hellz ya. PHAT IN BREAKS! He was sick
then Myka w/ his Tech styled house...which was pretty dope. Not 100% my thing, but pretty cool.
Then to the warehouse @ 5:30..stayed till 9:15 when I went to work, came back to the party @ 12:15 drank a few, then shut the warehouse down around 1:45 or so

only when you are friends w/ the manager, staff and DJs, we kept it 'open' for a private after afterparty until 4:45 or so, when we left and went to a house party.
yea..still drinking, some ppl still high. And its now 5 pm and its been one hella long day. I lasted till 5:30, then I crashed and went home. Cant believe I partied for 17 and a half hours 100% sober minus the 3 or 4 drinks I had @ 2 in the afternoon.

It was just bundles of fun.
Tho there were way more ppl than I ever expected to come out with that weather.

Onto Canada Day
they 100% changed the lineup, no SHOKK, no Dean, and its not in Morley anymore, its @ Max bell.
I wont trust a word they say until June 27 or 28
ing around like this...
DJ_Shockwav
did the canada day flyers come out for connected?
cause it's almost may now and still no flyers when they said they'd be out in april

anywho, i was sitting at my computer at noon the morning after thinking "maybe i should go to the warehouse"

but i didn't

i can't wait for canada day :)

They only had the big posters up for Canada Day...Cosmic Gate, Rachel Auburn, Suzy Solar and DJ Simple were the four main with a "mystery headliner". Cosmic Gate is all I need to get me on the road to cowtown for this party. And DJ Simple is damn tight too.
