After a number of weeks of trance and techno I was looking forward to a dose of progressive house at Northern Ireland's premiere club!!! After having an excellent night at Lush 2 weeks ago I was eagerly anticipating our return. We reached Lush at 9:20 and relaxed for a while before hitting the dance floor. Jan Carbon was first on, he played a very nice set, some of the tunes were really impressive and I enjoyed his set greatly.

Jan Carbon finished his set at around 11:30 and then Nick Warren began. The beginning of Nick's set was very good and he played some of his new Global Underground tunes. Nick continued to build up the set and began to bring in some old classics. I was waiting for Nick to sign my poster in front of the DJ box when he played Mory Kante - Yeke Yeke, this is one of my all time favourite tunes. Another excellent tune which Nick played was Junkie XL - Beauty Never Fades, I had not heard this song in a long time and I had forgotten just how good it was, even better on the Avalon sound system!!!! Other tunes that stick in my mind were an interesting mix of Chemical Brothers - Hey Girl, Hey Boy and Layo & Bushwacka - Let The Good Times Roll. All in all a very good night when I enjoyed immensely!!!!

Next week Marco V!!!!!!!!!!!
