| i like ferry corsten a lot, but i know what this guy is talking about. the best producers dont always make the best djs (and vice versa)... in my experience with ferry live, it was just what i expected. good song selection but nothing too impressive in the djing area. didnt put too much into it and he had his back turned to the crowd through most of the set too. as for oakenfold, yes there is definitely a TREMENDOUS disaster waiting to happen in every set of his (most often, more than one) -- THAT, is what is wrong with HIS mixing. |

heheh this was suppose to be thread about vanvouers sucky night life and it actually turned into discussion of Ferrys mixing skills :)
I love it...
well regarding music scene and night life I already rantted about in one thread earlier so I wont repeat myself again
and on the topic of Ferrys mixing: Well I love the guy and his productions
I still get goose bumps from System F - Solstice even thou you say System f productions suck.
I dont have anything against his mixing skills or track selection...
In all the sets that I have heard he is spot on, mixing wise and track wise
well I dont want to go into technical details its not up to me nor I want to analyze his style :)
