apri_peel is right...the public has no idea of things going on in Van. I'm constantly finding shows that my friends have no idea are going on, but only because I search for them in Newspapers and on here. I was in Montreal last summer and the streets are literally plastered with flyers when a big name dj comes to town, when it's as easy as walking down a street to find out about a show you would think that a lot more tickets are probably going to be sold.
A lot of people are put off by the stigma associated with electronic music-, if I didn't love it I don't know if I'd put up with the people you find at raves as much as I do. We do need more club nites that are exclusively trance/progressive, but perhaps promoting the few that exist now should precedent. |

If it is a club night just go to www.clubvibes.com everything is there. For 'raves' go to www.teamhardcore.com and I am sure there are a hundred other sites out there. If you check these weekly you will never miss anything. |

I have to agree I have been partying in Vancouver for along time I have put on 6 shows, Has for dj getting booked I booked the dj that I like to hear. So many good dj in Vancouver,
