Well my post underworld report follows.
Got to fox studios, met some friends and headed over to the hordern for the end of luke slater. He was playing some pretty nice tunes but you could tell no-one was really interested. 21.59 the stage filled with smoke and out the terrible twosome that is underworld arrived.
Well if like me you own everything/everything you could not have been dissapointed. Every track off the album was performed including my absolute standout moment a wicked live version of cowgirl. Im pretty sure my head melted off i was dancing so hard along with the rest of what i must say was an up for it crowd. Other highlights finishing with born slippy into push upstairs to the mandatory leave the stage which required a load of screaming and out they came for the meanest version of moaner i have ever heard.
All in all the best live performance of electronic music i have ever seen. If you are a fan you won't be dissapointed. If you have never heard of them it's not to late to start.
100/10.
Oh yeah cool effects behind them on these plastic bubbles, massive lasers and two of the happiest, going off band members i have ever seen. And that makes a difference as im sure you would all agree.

they were in brill last night at BDO..
so good in fact that i just bought tickets to go see them again tonight at metro! :D |
