| Hello. Could anyone tell me if there is a way to add more fx channels in Fruityloops? As it stands I only have a max of 16 and could really put more to use. |

As could everyone...
Just be patient and wait until FL Studio comes out, it just might solve the problem.
Or wait until the plugin I'm writing is finished :) |

Fruity Studio?
Really looking forward to that! :)
I also wish there where more the 16 effect channels.
I always run out of em... :/
The thing with fruity is that u can't have two synths/bass/etc etc playing on the same effect channel as u will notice that they "kill" eachother.
To get a clear and good sounding mix u have to use separate channels for the main sounds u use.
Looking forward to that plugin too Mike! Didn't know u wrote software! :) |

Alright, thanks for the info. Looking forward to FL studio as well :). Looks like for the time being I will just have to export out wave files and import them back in using the sampler :(
Michael, could you tell me more about this plugin you are making? |

| yea, i always run out aswell, end up having to put similar percussion sounds on the same fx channel, bit of a pain when they could do with eqing more, so they have to be eqed/reverbed/compressed/etc. seperately and imported, suppose it makes u concentrate on getting the synth fx channels spot on :) |

The plugin I'm making won't be done for a while, but it's kinda similar to a plugin called Chainer by Xlutop. It's similar in the sense that you can chain VST blocks (VSTi and VSTfx) together, but everything else is going to be much different and more suited to the way I like to work.
Anyways, you can get Chainer now, and it will alleviate your fx problems. |

| have you tried using send to the other 4 effect channels? I usually drop the more commonly used fx, like compressor and reverb or chorus onto the send channels, then effect all the drum sounds separately and send 'em to the send 1 channel. Basically I take hats on fx 1, and eq it then send to send 1 for compression, then take kick drums on fx 2, then send 'em to send 1 for compression. Make sense? or am i still too mashed from yesterday and it only makes sense to me |

| Yeah it makes sense, but in theory the hat would still be taking up fx channel 1 would it not? |
