Impossible to choose just one, but my favourites this year are as followed ps. My tastes are extremely wide...so if u dunno some of the names, well that's just poo :p

Actually...add Airwave to that list, he's done some pretty cool and his album 'Believe' is phat, altho most of those tunes are from 2000/2001.
I guess Armin can get an honourable mention, altho the majority of his productions are remarkably similar ;) |

Posted this on another forum, so I figured I'd just copy and paste it here (because I'm lazy and can't be bothered writing it again):

Noel Sanger also made a late run with a quick flurry of quality releases in the last few months of the year, James Holden continued his good form of the past couple of years with a couple of good LP's (at least) and a few good remixes to boot this year and guys such as Shmuel Flash and Yunus Guvenen have both made an instanct impact on the scene with several top releases in their first year of notoriety.
Having said that, though, Lemon 8 was the clear winner, both for the over-all quality of his productions and the sheer number that he released. :)
(If you don't like progressive music, then this probably won't mean much to you.) ;) |
