However the strongest team rarely trys hard to win friendlies, take Brazil they played a country like Bangledesh once and scored 15 goals now lets be honest if they properly played it would of been 100 - nil.
As for players Beatties strong he's like a younger version of Shearer, also in goal and this ain't crazy Paul Robinson give that lad a chance he was fantastic in last years Champions League he was good whenever he covered for Martyn in fact he was a lot better, The rest of the England keepers Seamans getting on not as good as he used to be and has had some dodgy games, Martyn was injured and is a bit dodgy IMO, James ing hell he's 2 bob I wouldn't trust anyone in goal if they reckoned playing games on computers improved their albilties in goal, and also last but not least Kirkland he gets ing bummed, he is a good keeper however I'm not convinced by him, he was in goal for Coventry went down maybe thats saying something. |

The reason that Shearer quit international football was because he felt that he needed to concentrate on his club football as he was getting too old to be captain of england andplay for newcastle, hence his still good form, i.e. not playing for england is helping him. Anyway thats a forgon conclusion whether he'll play or not, coz he wont.
How can you say Owen is overated? :crazy: In football, there are certain qualities that a defender is affraid of, and one of them is speed. Owen has bags of this and outruns most defenders. Against argentina Owen didnt have a footballing brain, he has now developed this so he can poach goals and become a dog in the box. He's maturing always as a player and he will continue to do so.
Austrailia, im sorry, havn't got a chance. It all depends on whther Sven decides to change the whole team at half time and experiment like he always does, as he still likes to play and give nearly every player in the country a england cap (hence the stat he has given more new caps to players than any other english manager in history).
Roony...play for england. LOl. Sorry, but he has played what, 10 games at the most? How can a player be justified in playing for his country? He has just turned 17...i think. Keep him at U21 IMO for a bit. Hope that greening can solve the left hand side problem (i know Ste supports Boro...u agree with this mate?).
Ferdinand, Campbell, Cole, Beckham, Gerrard, Scholes and owen. Every team in the world would accept a player of that quality. Austrailia have good Kewell (who is playing e at the moment like nearly all leeds players) and....i cant think now but one more good player i think.

Owen hasn't scored in a month, and looks to have lost the plot, yet again :(
