funky. a movie thread!
thought provoking movies are the ones i adore the most.
they have some sort of influence in your life by allowing you glimpses of diff perspectives, tho half the time, interpretations are always somewhat subjective.
anyway.
1] American Beauty
2] Requim for a Dream
3] Fight Club
4] Vanilla Sky
5] The whole Kevin Smith series, Chasing Amy being my fav.
cheerio! |

This movie affected me in such a way that i found it almost unbearable to actually watch it. Sometimes it just becomes too much, especially when you feel so sorry for the characters.
I prefer to see more 'uplifting' films only because sometimes i need to be reminded how good the human spirit can be. I'm such a downer! :p
I also like how you guys have exploited the 'max of five films' by including 'honourable mentions' but thats understandable, this is known to be one of the hardest questions in life. :D |

Grrrrr, "bestest" is a double superlative. Don't you remember your grade 5 English teacher ranting on about that? :tongue2
Anyway off the top of my head,
1. The Matrix
2. Lock, Stock & Two smoking barrels.the matrix
3. South Park - Bigger, longer, and uncut
4. American Pie
5. The Usual Suspects
Can I put in Ferry Corsten World Tour Tokyo 2002 DVD as number 6? :) |
