I wasn't referring to clothing policies, I was referring to any policies regarding searches. At the Riviera I had to have my pack of cigarettes checked which contained $200 in essentials for the evening, and abruptly had them thrown out.

I wouldn't complain...
You could have done prison time...:nervous:

I doubt they will be any more expensive at the door. However, you might get right in with prepurchased tickets and have to wait in line if you are buying them (like @ Tiesto).

Or you can con the door guys into letting you in free like they did for my friend @ Tiesto :)

I'm curious to hear the story of how you did that...:conf:

I really do think it'll be a toss-up as to hw the event will turn out. Though I can't really complain because I can't get into 18+ events anyways, it is kinda ty. Big name DJs don't really frequent the midwest and 21+ excludes a lot of fans that don't usually get to see the DJs as it is because they don't come around here all that often!! That's justa personal qualm...

Grr. I kind of know how you feel. I want to fly to Miami for WMc but I won't be able to get into Space or Opium as I'm not 21.
By the way, if that's you on your avatar then you could easily pass for 18 or 19. ;) I've never had to much of a problem in Texas with big name Dj events, but it's still 21 here too.. :whip:

Have fun all you Chicago people who are going!!!!!

screw this, now i am seriously pissed off...

so a friend of mine told me that she was going to get tickets, since she is 21 (one again, screw this stupid law)... well.. that was last week, and i haven't been able to talk to her a lot because of work... well, i constantly reminded her to get them soon... and ticketmaster had them online last night so i wasn't worried... anyways, i went on ticketmaster today and they were sold out... so i called and asked her if she had gotten them yet, but she was like "no, i was just about to do it"... well.. I just about killed someone... whoptie-ing-doo... now i'm gonna have to wait in line... what a great deal... and another level and grammaphone are sold out... so screw them... what time d you guys suggest i show up? would 9ish be ok? or would there already be 200 people waiting (seeing how the doors open at 8)... AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
