Trance is pretty much dead in melbourne, apart from people like Steve Strangis and Dave Begic keeping it alive, and the internationals that visit.
But most of Melbourne is flooded by Hard trance and NRG... its horrible. :( |
I second that rob, no trance event in Melbourne it sux |

1 - What are you guys going on about plsatic. Isn't it still at Zen.

Not much trance in the Gold Coast, most of it is all commercial rubbish.
The only decent club i was able to find there was "the mansion" which is hidden away from all the other clubs, althoguh its more hard trance really. |
You'll be sad to know that Mansions is no longer. It changed name twice since then and at last i heard has turned into a bar which plays live music. Apart from the odd night every now and then in Brisbane or the Gold Coast...trance is no where to be seen. |

As far as the Gold Coast goes, mansions is about the only place that plays something that resembles trance. But trance is not dead. We have a regular trance/hard house night in Adelaide where usually 800+ people come called "Chemistry".

at the big events here in perth (gatecrasher / ministry etc etc), trance is always in the best room, and always gets the most support..
|
Unless you're in Adelaide where Ferry Corsten gets chucked into a warehouse while Tall Paul plays main stage... (which I have no objections to since it meant we could throw up records to him). |
