| AFAIK, that is not possible with MD's of any type (could be wrong though).. For something like that, e-wear, memory stick, or IPOD... |

Unless you could be bothered getting a line-out cable, plugging it into the minidisc and into the line-in on your computer, then recording it using TotalRecorder or something similar..
Which seems to make the MD a redundant step.... |

Well that depends on your definition of easily... You can't do it through USB, via the NetMD protocol. You can hook up the line out on your MD unit to the line in port on your soundcard, and do it that way, but:
a) You'll have to do it in realtime (ie. 2 hours of audio will take you 2 hours to transfer); and
b) It will be an analog recording. |

ah right yeah i was implying using like the line out and realtime...
but whats the diff between analog recording and digital is there much loss in quality? |
