| a while ago I posted a thread saying that I'm moving to Calgary, well finally I'm here and the internet's finally hooked up (3 weeks later) so looking forward to meeting some fellow Calgarians sometime! Heard Digweed is dropping a set pretty soon. That should haul some ass! Bye for now! |

| Glad to hear there's a new TA around town. And yea, Digweed's on the 20th at the Whiskey if Im not mistaken. I'll be there, so maybe we can meet, although I dunno who else is going. |

| thanks for the welcome guys! my fav style would be along the lines of Tiesto, Corsten, van Buuren type of spinning. I had the chance to see Tiesto this past summer for the first time in Ibiza and was just blown away, he just blows me away everytime I hear his livesets and not to mention the one set I did take in of his! unfortunately i'm running low on cash at the moment due to bills but hope to hit something soon and maybe meet up with some people. I'm in the S.E part of Calgary if that helps any. |

hello again, sorry for the late response to you guys, I've found myself a new job in the city and have been quite busy, how was Digweed? anyone go? I saw the flyer for Tiesto, that would be an amazing show, I saw him this past summer and have never had so much fun in my life hopefully i can catch one of these shows soon. how many of you guys know each other personally or have any of you guys even met? when do raves here usually happen? I work at 7am from mon-fri so far and will be changing soon to two on and five off. hopefully they don't run too much during the week. hope to talk wtih you guys soon!

| Well Digweed postponed his show becaude of and ear infection, so you can still see him in a month or two (I forget the actual date). I've only personally met Jason (j_spot) although I doubt he remembers me, but I look forward to meeting the rest at tiesto next week. And as for raves...well there arent too many going on anymore because of all the hassle and money that goes into it because of the city bylaws. But when a big rave is coming up, this is the place to find out about it. |

Yeah I'm pretty pissed off there's no Magik this year... I *loved* it last year. The way they were talking it sounded like they were gonna bring in some huge huge names and then had to pull the plug cuz of scheduling/venue problems.
Sucks... I was so looking forward to seeing a big name in a big venue. Clubs are good, but nothing beats the feel of a packed arena ;-) |
