it was fun.....his dj skills aren't exactly impressive(wrecking the same mix twice!!!).....but he did play alot of amazing tracks...i mean, for an early set, it was wicked.....the rocket man remix was refreshing......but i'm a sucker for cheese
the band was actually alot better....alotta filthy acid breaks, and then starry eyed surprise..but no live vocals...which is kind of odd.....pretty wicked lighting...visuals...and then i heard the last encore track was massive....by then i had left.
and it was packed to capacity....people came up from kamloops to see oakie.....i still don't get it...

im glad it was a good show
but now that i think about it, i saw that Z is now playing starry eyed surprise so i think lots of ppl came down there and were expecting that kind of music, also could be part of the reason the place was packed
ah well. the man is still a good dj. gotta love his state side sets |
