MOS Thoughts

1. Mark Dynamix set was ok. nothing too special, I caught the last hour or so of it.

2. Talls Pauls set was average, he opened with 2-3 good tunes, but went right downhill from there. By right down hill i mean falling down a mountain. His mixing was absolutely shocking. 10 second transitions, mixing the next song into parts of the song which had no beat. Missing half the song out, case in point. The last trance track he played i cant remember the name of it but he skipped half the song out, and then mixed in some cheesey commercial tracks to finish off. I checked out the last 30 minutes, and first hour of his set, didnt do anything for, Jah said i missed Warrior - Drama though :(

3. Ferry Corsten was great. He played some good tunes, lots i didnt know. He didnt play 4x4 - Indigo, or Joker Jam Innocence like i thought he would. His mixes were good, a little short maybe but after tall paul's mixes they sounded great. When corsten played Ligaya i blew my load over anyone near (front right, near the reversed visuals screen), love that tune and its even better live. Corstens set went something like this (that i remember). Mostly in order.

Veracocha - Carte Blanche <-- I think
Gouryella - Ligaya
Gouryella - Tenshi <-- I think
Eon - Pocket Damage
Sonorous - Second Sun (Original Mix)
Ferry Corsten - Punk (Some remix which did not use the cheese synths)
Ferry Corsten - Punk (Original) <-- not his white label with out vocals either
Plastic Boy - Silverbath

There were some more which I have heard before but I cant remember the names to them. Any other WA Ta's wanna help me out with the tracklisting?

4. Old Berlin is an awesome club, never been in there before. I was in there around 11:30 and the atmosphere is great. Is it open regularly? or just for big delerium events?

5. Drum and bass is not fun.

6. The Djs in the turntablism room around 11ish had pretty mad skills.

7. The line for metros was much too long at 12 oclock, im glad i didnt stand in it.

8. The visuals were an advertisement for a PS2 game. WTF?

9. Metro Cities 6AM, No encores closing bull too. Ferry was keen on playing a few but wasnt allowed. Power was cut off and he could not play any more tunes regardless of how much the crowd wanted him too. head Metro City. Big ups to him coming out and signing autographs and gear.
Bedrock
Old Berlin is only used for big mult-venue events

Some PS2 game sponsored the event, see your ticket

wasnt planning on goin to ministry last nite, got into northbridge about 12.30 and we were just planning on goin clubbin.... but somehow we ended up in metros city

i didnt really mind the tunes tall paul was spinning... kinda funky prog house, but probably not best suited to metros city, somewhere more intimate would have been better
i agree with escee on the mixing... heard a few double beats here and there - ferry was much better

didnt really have the best time tho... felt pretty sick the whole night and i guess i just wasnt really up for it cos i hadnt been expecting to go. metros did had a good vibe tho :wtf:
Lanithium
did u guys see the car that got pushed over on its side at the back of metro's?
imagine the poor owner coming back to find his car on its side.. huhuh thats gotta give ya the s

i thought the night was ok... ferry was the only thing that made the night for me and even he wasnt anything to have a wet dream over..

i wondered about most of the night.. came back for ferry... was almost about to go walkies again after hearing the start of his set... glad i decided to give him a chance and stay.. the last 3/4's of his set was pretty good... some nice tunes in there... was good to hear ligaya on the metro's system... and silverbath to finish it off was nice!
got squashed by everyone rushing to the front to shake his hand when he dropped punk... :|

almost fell on my arse several times with all that lube on the floor... whichever thought it would be a good idea to throw out heaps of condoms and lube packs needs to get his head examined.

lotsa ambulances there last night.. :| counted 4

great to see the support for trance is growing every event! :) :)
