What mixer would you guys prefer using if you guys are playing at a party.

DJM600's are nice...is that asking for too much?
dj phu
U cant use numark , vestax, gemini and etc.... at a huge party. U need a big honkin mixer or no show.
j@y
yeah to practice it is good but you need more tracks to play with cds
dj_inferno
vestax pcv 275...
Alccode
In reality it's not wise to be too picky...

so I'd say... ANYTHING WITH SPLIT CUE AND/OR CUE-MONITOR FADE OPTION :) You can scrap the latter if it's "too" picky. But split cue definite bonus. That's just what I personally require.

My only requirement :) Oh and decent eq's.

Wat i'm trying to say is, u might end up getting a big mixer that u never use and then you be dead because you dont know how to use it. Thats why i'm getting a bigger mixer.

I think our job is not to care about big mixer ... its the Sound System team job .. hahhaaA~ .. our job it to mix with our own mixer at least we will use a battle mixer ..

If We have to use Big mixer like 32-64 chanell .. i dont think we have time to mix .. coz we gonna be busy tuning the EQ and the fader

Peace, LeVouS

The first time i used the DJM-600 was in a club with no booth lighting. I had no idea what anything did, i couldn't see where the eq's were pointing and it took me five minutes to figure out how to cue the other channel

that's why i always bring a little blue led light with me... kinda like those photon lights
they're bright and help you see what's going on
especially if the target lights on the tables aren't working :)

i could care less about the mixer
as long as the booth speakers are clear and crisp
