LOL Barbers Adaggio For Strings is not composed by william Orbit. Its a very famous Classical Tune that was composed by a very famous composer (I can't Remember right now but I think it was Verdi) about a hundred yrs ago. W O just mixed it up with some electronics tunes and made it trance!!!
Same Tune is used in the movie Platoon as well....:stongue: :stongue: :stongue::haha: |

failed to notice the tune but what a classic episode! :D
I think you'll find it was Samuel Barber who composed it.
They've shown a couple of pearlers over the last few days, hows about Elaine's "controlled flailing". :p |

Haha, yeah the original "Adagio For Strings" (which is what it was called originally) was composed by Samuel Barber early this century, and was "popularised" I guess when it appeared in the movie Platoon.
He also composed a piece called "Agnus Dei" which is choral arrangement of Adagio, and sounds very nice too.
Yours sincerely,
Renegade. |
