hey fellas i'm in a real sticky situation at the moment, i've been given the responisibilty (along with some other friends) to organise an end of year party. thats all good and all but the problem is we have nowhere to actually hold the thing! i really am stuck for ideas, ive tried many places and their either booked, or just won't do it....i've even tried pursuading a playground owner to let us have it there! no luck :(
Please guys if you have any idea of a good venue location please tell me: try to make it more based in the city and the southern suburbs than in other locations, but really all suggestions would be helpful... as i am getting really desperate now!

| How many people? You can hire out rooms in clubs like QBH and Zos, but thats only on a weeknight i believe. You could also try a warehouse?.. blah, good luck man :) Hope it all goes well in the end! |

what about places like community centres and the like?
if you're just looking for a place to have casual drinks & bbq with mates (ie nothing too fancy) then that sort of place is ideal....
but if it's an end of year work party or something, maybe a function room at a hotel or pub or something...

200-250 people, and we really don't wanna share the night with other people we don't know, so hiring rooms is a no no , but i like the idea about the warehouse, any ideas of places that do this?

nah its really not a casual drink night, its a party hard one. So we need something that would be interesting rather than just a plane hall. a pub though is a really good idea, will look into it...thanks! |
