I bought this brilliant system on the first day, when it came out here in Europe. SEGA is brilliant is my opinion. Sadly the system is dead, cause the big public didnt bought it. Now I'm one of the last people who bought this system again, cause my first system is broken :whip:
I have some brilliant games that I still wanted to play sometimes like Shenmue 1 and 2, Metropolis Street Racer, Sonic 1 and 2, Jet Set Radio and Virtua Tennis.
What is your opinion about the Dreamcast. My opinion is that it is a brilliant system that died to soon. |

| Yeah the dreamcast was incredible! I remember the first time I played Soul Calibur...I was amazed that a game like this could be on a console. Still to this day I would have to say that my favorite game ever is Shenmue. I feel that the dreamcast was just screwed over..it didn't get the support it deserved, there were soooo many awesome games! |

Soul Calibur is wicked, this game was one of the reason that I bought a dreamcast. We in Europe had to what ages before the machine was introduced here. The Gameshop where I buy all my stuff had an US import Dreamcast with a copy of Soul Calibur an I was totally amazed at the time. And I still think it is the best fighting game around. |

The DC didn't die because better systems came out. The PS2 was when it was released, and had a shoddy list of games. And Shenmue II still looks better than most PS2 titles. It dies because only a few people bought it.
And yes, it was pretty great. Jet Set Radiooooooooo!!! |

And the critics didn't give the Dreamcast a change. And now they all say, what a shame that SEGA pulled out the plug for this system, because of all the original and cool games. And the PS2 was crap the first year, 2 or 3 A-class games. In the same period the Dreamcast kicked the PS2 arse with high quality games, but the big public believed the hype of the PS2 and bought a PS2 instead.
We all know right now that the console of the moment is the PS2 with lots of quality games, but the first year they had a shamefull list of -games. |

2D fighters dominated DC. I loved that! |
