Who has one? Saw a guy had installed one in his S4, looked pretty cool :)
But yeah, any reviews? And how tight can you set the tension? Would be awesome to have a x-fader that i had to put some real power into using for the long transitions, kinda rotary style. |

Seems more like a turntablist type thing really and possibly a bit pointless as their mixers already have this type of technology in them.
I used to be into my turntablism, had a purpose built vestax mixer at the time, never felt that there was a need.
Although, now that I come to think about it... just looked down at my Xone 464 and just thought what a piece of crap that Penny Giles actually is... useless in as much as that you can't adjust the curve.
Hmm... suddenly doesn't look so stupid.
I agree, would be cool to see a review.

I have one installed on my Xone:32. A bitch to put in the 32, as you have to insert it from under the faceplate (requiring removal of every knob and screw), and with the non-pro version I bought, you can't use the reverse cf function on the mixer (I'm not a turntablist, so it's not a huge deal). But other than that, it's an amazing piece of kit. Design is such that I won't have to replace it for a very, very, *very* long time, and since I do a lot of cutting with the kind of Techno and House I play, it's wonderful to be able to adjust the curve and tension so I can get really precise with it. Smooth as butter, as most reviews will tell you - just feels great in the hands. Well worth the investment - if I had the coin, I'd replace the line faders with them as well.
Alfi, haven't really toyed with *increasing* the tension, as I was looking for something that performed in the opposite direction. |

Been toying with the idea of getting one for the 464 after reading Pivot's post. Thanks for the info.
