Do these play ok in all the standard CDJs?

, I bet there is a thread on this somewhere.

Don't think so. I've never seen any mention of it and it would be a serious amount of hassle to make them work in a slot loading drive.

I could also imagine the club throwing you out after repossesing your kneecaps.

From the manual.

quote:
Precautions when playing 8 cm CD singles
1 When playing 8 cm CD singles, be sure to use an adapter designed for 8 cm CDs. Before loading the disc into the player,
confirm that the disc is fastened correctly by the adapter’s tabs.
If an 8 cm disc is loaded by mistake without an adapter, immediately press the EJECT (0) button and remove the disc. If the
disc is not ejected the first time the EJECT (0) button is pressed,
press the button again.
2 Use only 8 cm disc adapters that feature the ' logo mark (recommended compatible adapters). When mounting the disc to
an adapter, confirm that the disc is able to rotate freely, and is
not bent or warped.

Have any of you ever needed to eject a cd via the eject hole with that pin under the cdj?

Apologies Chewy edited your post by accident instead of posting a new post :)

Here was my reply:

Nope, only read about it there, Always wondered what that tool under the cdj was.
Granted i've only owned mine for 5 months though.

I used mine once (or maybe twice) on my old CDJ-100s. Worked fine, altho you have to push it in quite hard.
