Hello
It's not really a question i have.....other than wondering if anybody
has tried this new software tool for "DJ mashups"?
http://www.hitnmix.com/
The demo that i saw was pretty allright. They took a bbc news theme
song ......split it up and customized it to a new song.
I just wondered how many people have come across similar types of softwareto this?. Ableton live has some kind of similar thing although it may not really do the same job.
It's interesting how they use this tool. You can simple delete parst of a song while also leaving an underlying sound intact. It is cut and pasting of sound snippets.
From what i saw, this tool certainly looks and sounds interesting.
As the creator pointed out....it's the abililty to remix songs in seconds.
Song mashups.
I know only of Photosounder (together with GIMP art tool) that can do similar treatments to audio. Photosounder infact offers some staggering possibilities with sound layering.
thanks
