I'm reading "Mixing with your Mind" again, and I have come to the part where he talks about listening to another element besides the one you are EQing and how its a different experience.
It was a while ago when I tried this out, but when I played around with two elements it had a strange result. I had one sound that was almost a sine like blip with not many harmonics. Then there was also a saw tooth like bass. Whenever I boosted the bass, it seemingly boosted the blip, but not the other way around.
Is this wierd? :conf: |

What do you mean when you say boosted? Did you raise the volume of the samples or did you EQ a specific frequency? |
