Most places haven't done their listings that far ahead.

Try some of these sites nearer the time and check their listings:

www.promisealways.com <-- Newcastle, ~300 miles from London. Small club with great atmosphere, but crap opening hours (ie 10pm - 4am). The opening hours may change in coming months though (fingers crossed!). Their site currently only has listings till August.

www.slinky.co.uk <-- Bristol and Bournemouth. One is under 100 miles from London, the other is maybe 100 - 150, I have no idea. These have already put their September listings up:

Bristol venue: 14th Sept: Rob Tissera, Daniel Bailey, Garry White
21st Sept: Steve Thomas, Charlotte Birch, Tim Lyall

Bournemouth venue: 13th Sept: Paul Van Dyk, Garry White
20th Sept: Tidy Boys, Eddie Halliwell, Tim Lyall

www.gatecrasher.co.uk <-- Sheffield. About 200 miles from London. They also have a monthly night in Heaven in London but given this month's one is Aug 30, you will miss next month's one. These have their listings up for Sheffield:

21st Sept: Paul van Dyk (6 hrs), Fergie,
Judge Jules, Armin van Buuren,
Scott Bond, Matt Hardwick,
Eddie Haliwell + more to be announced

www.godskitchen.com <--- Birmingham. About 100 miles from London, give or take 25 (my geography is e). They do not have September listings up yet, but they will have someone good so keep checking.

www.theempire.co.uk <-- Middleborough. About 250 miles from London. Listings for Sept aren't up yet, but occasionally they have some great trance lineups. Keep checking, you might hit lucky.

www.cream.co.uk <-- Liverpool. About 200 miles from London. Haven't got Sept listings up yet.

www.ministryofsound.co.uk <-- In London. Sometimes has some big DJ's like Ferry or PvD. Keep checking.

Passion <-- Leicester. Not sure what happened to them or the website they had!

And so on...

If you went to the North of England from Sat 21st - Sat 28th Sept you'd have a blast. You could make the Gatecrasher night above and the Godskitchen night in Newcastle, and on the Friday you could go to see DuMonde in Newcastle, probably even bigger DJs at Godskitchen, or whatever. In that week, if you had some money and were prepared to travel, you'd see a lot of world class DJs.

Haven't got a clue about London record shops, but try searching the UK forum, people have posted about this before.

Here's some threads I found from people asking about record shops in London. You'll find some answers in these, though I'm not sure if they're what you want:
