a single first class stamp, summit like 30p, insurances whatever is inside the envelop upto the vaule of £27? coz i didnt! basically, u no that if u wana send something pricey, u do recorded mail and all that! well say u wana send £20 in an envelope, well u might do recorded mail, so if they lose it, u dont lose £20, well basically u could do that same stuff on a single first class stamp!
the post office have the nack of not telling u this, me and my mum only just found out, what happens is if u ask the post office they get u to sign for the send, and the person to sign for the delivery, so its recorded mail for standard letters included in ur stamp price! niftey!

However if you send it even recorded and the goods are over £27 they only pay you £27. A m8 sent a motherboard and processor to his family in south africa, it ended up in the USA hes like WTF, post office are like, well we can refund £27. Eventually after a few pissed off phone calls it got to SA.
Come to think of it now not sure if it was £26 or £27. |
