I just got my aug issue of the mag, and when I scratched off those "win 50000" inserts, i got a match on both. This is the fouth time it's happened and I'm not a resident so i don't call in.
Do you win everytime? What's the deal, is this for real?
Might move there for a bit to find out.

hehe, i think u r referring to those scrathcard thingy's that say "CALL THIS NUMBER TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE!"
Basically, i reckon its a bit of a scam, cos the the cost of the phone call is £1.50 per minute, and the call last something like 6 minutes, and u get like, some ty prize! It might be fore real, but I, for one am not bothered about it and rather save the £10 in the first place :D |

| it is a scam, you will spend 20 quid ringing up and you will have won some hat of which they got 1 million for free from coca cola or whatever as promotional advertising. |

| If it's the one I'm thinking of, you'll win a "weekend trip to France for 2" (notice to and on in France. It's actually a return journey with some Ferry company leaving on mid-day Saturday and getting to France for Sunday morning (yeah...scenic route or something). They get their money from the amount of money you spend during Saturday evening on the bar, duty free, food etc... Then you get about 5 hours in France on Sunday and it comes straight back (the quick way, with everybody crammed into the bar area) in time for a late roast dinner. |
