I've been playing entirely too much Counter-Strike lately, i haven't touched another game save for Fifa occasionally because of the world cup for months now. I couldn't figure out what it was, but i've realize that nothing beats playing a multiplayer game because you're matched up against your peers and you make everything happen, you decide what blows up when and how you want to attempt to kill someone.
i love the challenge, the adrenaline you get from killing another person sitting at a computer trying to achieve the same goal as u and knowing they're pissed that you just took their head of with an AK-47 before they had a chance to even shoot one bullet and now they have to wait till the rounds over to get back at you.
not only that , but you meet some really nice people and you get to interact with them on a whole new level because instead of just chatting you're working together as a team to beat other players. no amount of AI is ever going to compensate for multiplayer games. I've been meaning to play the Baldur's Gate saga cd's i have for a while now but i just can't, i used to love those type of games but the only thing on my mind when i want to play video games is COUNTER STRIKE...
It's great to play when high too, on this server i'm a regular at it keeps stats for everybody and keeps track of who killed who with what when where and why etc... and i use a tag on my name "(High)" so that i can gauge my stats when i'm playing high and when i'm not... when i'm high the game is so intense, it's like you're in a movie, and when something funny happens (and funny happens all the time in CS) then i just get the s and giggles like no actor or comedian could give me...
and the absolute pinnacle of video gaming comes when you're a regular at a server, you do decently and people know you for a good player but one day you just completely PWN like there's no tomorrow and you're like a god, no one can touch you... i did that today on Dust playing with my new clan mates , my former clan mates, and some guys i really respect for being good players and i went 63 kills and 10 deaths in 30 minutes with 2 random knife kills thrown in for added pwnage... i had by far the best ratio and there were some good players playing... everyone's your friend when you run like that... the respect you garner is amazing... no other feeling on the net like it...
i guess what i'm trying to say is that counter strike is an evil game and i can't stop playing it... HELP |

| CS was crazy when it just came out. I still play almost daily but not as much and its the best when your faded, sitting next 2 the computer with a bag of chipz and a drink, munchin and clickin. |

...nothing wrong with that! :D
hehe, ya i agree with the multiplayer thing...i find it far more entertaining playing on-line games rather than single-player, it just seems so much more interesting i find
