While everyone is trying to get darker and dirtier, jon jon is trying to brighten up Toronto’s dance floors. Inspired by the more vivacious sides of house & pop music, jon jon brings a dynamic vibe and energy level to the forefront of a party. Having the opportunity to experience the dance scene while living in the UK has been an undeniable influence on jon jon’s love for the lively party. Spinning a blend of Piano & Latin Drum infused House and heavily influenced by Disco, jon jon’s sets are often both alive and energetic in an attempt to bring something fresh to the table.
Although he’s been dj’ing since 2001, only recently has he been able to really crack into the pulsating Toronto dance scene. Lately jon jon has had the opportunity to play such venues as the Gallery, Footwork, Tryst, the Comfort Zone, Club "V", Fluid, Toi bar, Ice Lounge, and getting the opportunity to play alongside great local talent such as Nathan Barato, dj Addy, Brad Copeland, the Junkies, Joee Cons, and Carlo Lio to name a few… He has also recently had the opportunity to open for Alex Kenji, Mastiksoul, Max Graham as well as Starkillers!!! Things are only looking up in 2009!
