Build me a pc (for real this time)

All I know is I want this case:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N82E16811133084

and that I'd like to keep the whole thing under $1500. I've got a sound card & all the peripherals, but I need everything else. Have at it...

no.

P.S. You are insane for spending that much on a case.
shaw
you're no fun.

and it's going in an a/v rack. appearance matters. i can already see that it's gonna be a pain in the ass finding components that'll fit in it (hence, thread), so i'm fully aware of the 'bad' decision. if i was putting it under my desk, i'd be more than happy to buy something big & cheap.

It looks ing awful though. The logo alone is enough to put me off. Looks cheap as .
shaw
thanks for your recommendation.

that's a lot of money for a case.

thing looks like a microwave

and that looks like a very small case. says it's ATX, but it's probably going to be a very tight fit so be careful.

better pic (maybe):

from what i've read, a couple expansion bays are your only obstacle to having a pretty normal-sized atx. i like it because it looks far more like a piece of a/v equipment than a pc. has a similar type of look to some of the Lexicon processors, actually. if you guys know of another htpc case that looks 'good' and still has a lot of room, by all means, post it. i've just found that those two seem to be mutually exclusive, aside from with this thing, to some extent.

in the mean time, surely, someone has some recommendations for what to do with the inside of an ugly, overpriced metal case.
