Problem with T-Racks and Live 8 under Windows 7

I'm switching to windows 7 (or at least trying to :)) and i got a problem with T-Racks VST's under Ableton Live 8.
The installed VST's aren't recognized in ableton, which means they do not appear in the plug-in devices list. Restarts and re-scans didn't help.
Under my old Windows XP all T-Racks vst's were recognized perfectly. My other plug-ins are also recognized.
Anyone else came across this? |

| in vista you have to run the t-racks install exe as Administrator (right click on the install file). In some instances i had to run ableton as administrator after. |

Good advice, thanks. It worked for almost all plug-ins, except for the Opto Compressor. Don't know whats so special about it. I tried several times to install it with or without admin-rights.
Edit: Now it works with Opto also. It was necessary to switch in ableton preferences "Use VST Plug-In Custom Folder" from On to Off and back to On.
Hmmm, i don't like this Vista/Win7 Admin stuff... |
