This is a shout about that money ur parents put in post office accounts until ur 18 and when u question them about it its "im not telling you, and u can have it when ur 18"!
Wouldnt it be better to have it when ur 17? i mean, thats when all ur financial commitments are needed, when u turn 17 ur looking for a decent job with career or college, (ive done one year at college and gona get a job on that year, im 17 in august) which £ to a p isnt local, u'll prolly need a car to get there, insurance, tax, fuel, maintence, ur living costs go up now u can go out alot more, etc etc! so imo this money is needed the most now!
When ur 18, what u need it for? add some zero's on ur bank balance? whats the point to that? if they gave it u at 17 it'd be 10x (ste :p ) more useful then when u actually need it than at 18 when u most probably dont, just makes things more comfortable!

I could do with the money now, but as my dad spent my savings on smack I think I'll be skint for a fair while :(

i actually need it now way mroe than when i was 17. coz i did a levels, so 17 is a bit of a transitional period fo e, whereas now im leavin colelge n need lotsa cash! |
