Having enjoyed the sort of hype lavished on many a young gun; Jim Rivers has flourished in to one of the most exciting production and DJ talents around. Recent releases for John Digweed’s Bedrock label and Eric Prydz’s Pryda imprint have cemented Jim’s position and provided a platform to develop his own Misfit label. Jim’s stock is set to rise further over the coming months with the forthcoming release of his highly anticipated compilation project for Global Underground.

Clinton Brown & Miltos are a production duo on the move. Part of a new wave of second-generation DJ/producers injecting fresh ideas & impetus into the electronic music scene, their work has caught the eye of Nic Fanciulli, Steve Lawler and Dave Seaman. With releases on Cr2, Forensic, Audio Therapy, Renaissance and Rebirth their production credentials are there for all to see.

Already a highlight from Jim River’s recent Global Underground compilation, Pesticide is a high impact track. Combining heavy sub-bass with energetic percussion to create throbbing tribal groove that packs serious dancefloor punch.

Fresh from his hugely successful The Treedance single, Tom Budden brings a flavour of his ALiVE Recordings label to Misfit. Taking a more low-slung approach with a bouncing groove, shuffling hi-hats, flute stabs and Detroit synths.
