Who do you prefer for your friday night warmup Clyde1 or Beat106.
I used to like Beat106 but it seems to have gotten very hard especially for a Friday night warmup. Simon Foy is playing very hard trance atm on the same time slot as him on Clyde1 is Trevor Reilly, ok a crap DJ but he seems to have ripped off Beat106's Colin Tevendale, by playing good progressive trance, much preferable imho. When Trevor Reilly was on Beat106 he never played the way he does on Clyde1 which used to be cheesy as hell also is it only me that thinks Tevendale is on far too late and should be on earlier replacing Stevie Kerr, an amazing talent shoved on a pish time slot, especially when hes DJing with Tiesto @ BCM!
Just wondering if i'm alone thinking this......... |

i usually listen to beat 106 on a friday night! they have far superior DJs to clyde 1! they got simon foy, colin tevendale and paul mendez and they usually got a 1 hour guestmix on a sat night too from an international DJ! so i think its better than the cheese played on clyde 1! i gotta agree with the tevendale point he is on quite late but it dont matter to me cos im usually still awake

| Yeah, but Tevendale should be on way earlier it suits his music and the buildup for your friday/saturday night. Paul Mendez is quite good thought Simon Foy in typical Colours sense is playing heavy stuff. What I did notice tonight was that Clyde1 are playing some Steve MCreery stuff, he used to be on with Lisa Littlewood and Scott McKay on the Lockin, but now hes nightime mixing from The Tunnel for Clyde1. Something not right about it, doubt they will put Tevendale on same time slot as Crap Reilly due to them both playing the same type of music, albeit Colin gets his stuff (imports) way ahead of the Clyde1 mob. :eyespop: |
