Euphonic Conceptions, MCP and Harmonic Productions present
RE:CREATION the Official STS9 After Party
featuring:

TELEPATH
Music is a collective language. It can bring a sense of community among strangers, regardless of language, nationality, or beliefs. It can provide the listener an environment for creative thought and unrestrained emotion. It can manifest the beauty of people and cultures who may be thousands of miles apart. The music of Telepath strives to do all of this. Formed in 2006 and hailing from Philadelphia PA via Asheville NC, Telepath is a unique new expression in the current live and electronic music scenes. The 3-piece comprised of Michael Christie (keyboards), Curt Heiny (bass) and Mike B (drums) use a wide variety of self-created samples containing Indian and Arabic singers and musicians, Afrobeat-influenced horn lines, dubbed-out effects, and much more to generate the multi-layered sound that is Telepath. Extensively touring in support of their debut album Fire One (2006), Telepath has played to passionate audiences at theaters, clubs, and festivals around the country. Now, with the September 2008 release of their second album ContactTelepath continues the development of a loyal and ever-growing fan base, as well as their commitment to creating a positive and inspiring environment both on record, and in live performance.

OOAH (Glitch Mob / PantyRaid)
Dr. Oobot the subsonic scientist makes lots of noises, often times collaborating with other members of the strange and venerable glitch mob. Generally Ooah aka the Mob Boss brews audio concoctions consisting of banging drum beats that range anywhere from eighty-five to one hundred and ten beats per minute, squishy gut-wrenching bass frequencies, harmonic poly-rhythmic melodies and bloopy bleepy clicks and clacks. Some might know this madman for his outstanding turntablism, others for his highly energetic and consistently danceable hybrid dj/live laptop sets. No matter what the situation may be, Ooah and his fellow Glitch Mob homies are guaranteed to slay the crowd with an outrageously wicked performance and unforgettable sounds that will leave you begging for more...

RICHARD DEVINE
Richard Devine is one of the most talented (if not prolific) of the producers organized around the Miami neo-electro haven of Schematic Records. Based in Atlanta, Devine's productions have the rigid breakbeat swing of prime electro recordings, but also a high degree of DSP (digital signal processing) magic in keeping with Schematic's acknowledged heroes, Autechre. After EPs for a sublabel of Woody McBride's Drop Bass Network and the Devine EP on Schematic, the producer began getting a reputation in advanced electronics circles with remixes (of material by Aphex Twin, Chris Deluca, Slicker, and Schematic's own Phoenecia) as well as compilation appearances (Ischemic Folks and Lily of the Valley, both on Schematic). Turned on to Devine's work by praise from Autechre and his remix of Aphex Twin's "Come to Daddy," Britain's Warp Records hired him in 2000 to record a full-length. The results, Lipswitch, were jointly released one year later by Schematic and Warp. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide

SORTED
Jamie Andersen aka Sorted might not be as old school as you, but you'd never know it. Heavily influenced at a young age by nights spent in the notorious London clubs Fabric and The End. Sorted came back to the states eager to spread Europe's sounds to the masses.

Bursting on the Atlanta scene in 2005 Sorted quickly joined the 404audio.com crew becoming one of the cities premier Drum and Bass DJ's. Cutting his teeth at the now infamous Transit club nights, Sorted learned the importance of building a vibe, while keeping dancefloor sensibility. Within the first two years in Atlanta he shared the stage with icons, Andy C, Photek, Ed Rush, and Total Science. In 2007 Sorted secured his roots further into Atlanta EDM working with DJ Mayhem (Shadow Law Recordings) in bringing the city its first DNB lifestyle store, 404audio.

After building a name in Atlanta's underground, Sorted found the creative need to rise higher into the cities club scene by branching out into other genre's. Beyond Drum and Bass you can find Sorted playing a mix of Electro House and Indie Dance in clubs throughout the city. The past year Sorted has entertained crowds and shared the bill with a variety of heavyweight acts such as Benny Benassi, The Crystal Method, Treasure Fingers, Pendulum, and The Pnuma Trio. Comfortable in both the big room and the back room, Sorted delivers each and every time. For free promotional mixes, club dates, and other information visit: www.djsorted.com

CROOKHAVEN
Crookhaven is the combination of Atlanta DJs Rowland and shortstack. As established members of Atlanta's electronic music community through their affiliation with the404Audio
cadre of performers, the two began performing individually at the rightClique sponsored Bass Recreation Societyseries of events in Atlanta. Each having their unique perspectives on the loosely-defined realm of dubstep the two were approached in December of 2008 for an impromptu collaborative DJ set. The success of the event on both sides of the DJ-booth
inspired these two's continued collaboration. Drawing influences from IDM, minimal techno, dub and roots reggae, and a history in Atlanta's Drum and Bass scene, each member exploits the open possibilities of dubstep-influenced music inspiring crowds with their forward-thinking mixes at each subsequent performance.

Since then, these two have seen continued success throughout 2009, having shared line- ups across the southeast with varied line-ups including Benga, Joe Nice, Shpongle, Captain
Crunk, Djunya, Evol Intent, Eskmo, and Pretty Lights.

Recently, Crookhaven has joined forces as a member of theAtlanta Dubstepcollective as a resident of their monthly event Sub.Traction, and theDubstep.FMsponsored Sub.Traction
Online event, broadcast to live to a global listening audience. Despite a busy performance schedule the two continue to push new ground as they begin work on forthcoming original
material slated for availability in late 2009.
