Spanning two CDs and 21 tracks, the album will be released on August 10th and contain numerous exclusive tracks, as well as some of the imprint's greatest hits from the past 12 months. Included among the latter are the Gui Boratto remix of Sam Taylor-Wood's Pet Shops Boys-produced number "I'm in Love with a German Film Star," Matias Aguayo's "Walter Neff" and Wighnomy's Likkalize Love Rekksmi's of Gui Boratto's "No Turning Back." As for the exclusive tracks? DJ Koze indulges his tennis fetish on "40 Love," Mayer and Burger team up for a track featuring Ada called "Each and Every Day" and Coma turn up with "Sum."

Can't say I've really found myself disappointed by an edition of Total- some great stuff, some bad stuff, and some stuff in between, but usually a very well rounded release; don't expect this to be any different.

Looks interesting, generally agree with the said comments has good and ok tracks. Kompakt Total > Cocoon Compilation

They're quite different and do not merit being compared. You're not any cooler for stating that.

He's already a "Geomatician". He can't get cooler than that.

They're both compilations and I merely stated Kompakt's Totals are better imo. Not comparing their styles or anything like that. :thepirate

Look you're probably right, I came to the conclusion that Cocoon Compilation I is absolute garbage, but I still wouldn't compare the two. Kompakt is almost like pop music, whereas Cocoon is straight up big room techno.

Just got this a couple days ago, really enjoying it all particularly Jurgen Paape's 'Ofterschwang,' although doubtful I hope it doesnt crossover

From the samples I've heard, this is some pretty solid listening music.

The Supermayer remix has easily become one of my favourite tunes in quite a few years, haven't really listened to anything else off the compilation yet, though I plan to.
