POP II @ Harbourfront Centre (Luminato)?

did anyone go last year? the party was off the hook and brought back some nostalgic memories..
doesn't seem like there's anything going on this year though..? pity..

dunno what POP II is, but there's a huge luminato event w/ Goran Bregovic at the Yonge/Dundas sq tonite.. starts at 8pm
I strongly suggest that everyone go check it out! I'm hittin it right after work, whooo |

it was basically this rave headlined by JELO held at the Harbourfront Centre on the closing weekend of Luminato. It was shut down cuz apparently HTO never obtained a license for it despite granting approval to Newsoundspace (the promoters) access to hold the event. Cops shut it down about 20-30 mins early. Kinda reminds me of the fallout from that Don Jail party, i.e. venue management allowing events to be held without first obtaining a license..
anyways, long story short it was really fun and a great event. Just a pity that there doesn't seem to be anything similar going on this time around..
