There're actually a few alternatives.
Check out SoulSeek from http://www.soulseek.org which actually specialises in electronica. but since ag closed down, sheit loads of ppl have been packin in there makin the locals very unhappy, "ruining the community", which is understandable as nobody wants top 40, or other genre's of music in a community specified for electronica + i think the increase in growth is overloading their server *shrug*
There's also the tranceaddict hub which you can check out in the main music discussion forum. you'll have to request for membership for the main TA Hub, but there's Oldominion's hub which is free for all. Search around the threads there, you should find it.
Other's include mediaseek.pl, which I heard has similar interface to audiogalaxy, and blubster.com . These, unfortunately, I haven't had the time to check out yet, but no doubt they'll all grow. |
