Whats the big deal about the ad's on tv for Cadbury?
You know the ones I mean.
First there was a guy in a gorilla costume playing the drums to Phil Collins.
And now two ugly kids with cgi eyebrows.
Why does everyone seem to love these ad's? They're really not that good. If it was a real gorilla playing the drums (it wasn't, it was a guy in a suit) then yes that would have been impressive. And if it was really the kids doing it............ actually no it still would have been .
But it seems when these ad's were first released they got an inordinate amount of attention for no obvious reason. |

| Did they do the Maya ad as well last year that was really long winded and ? If so that sucked big time as well. Can't say I really know what the ad is for until the last second when the logo comes up. |

It doesnt get your attention in the right manner like those silent rivers ads which trick you into thinking you've gone deaf.
I saw the eyebrow thing yesterday, wtf? |

I can't watch Channel 10 anymore because of its promo ads. The annoying husky-whispery/serious voice that the announcers put on is unbearable.
The calibre of the programming is pretty abysmal anyway, it's no great loss.
The Cadbury ad would work well with the 'Channel 10' demographic. |
