I just don't understand the attraction to Facebook. I've considered joining to try and track down some old traveling friends, but other than that it just seems like yet another waste of time, while on the net. |

it's as much or as little as you make of it tbh. It's allowed me to catch up with some old friends who moved away as we grew up and found out one had moved back to within 1km of where I now live. It has its pros and cons but at the end of the day it's only as annoying as you decide to make it, and it definitely beats twitter. |

Yeah... The other thing is, it seems like too much work. I mean, I already have to write a hundred emails a day to people. If I have a Facebook account, then people will write messages and , and I know VERY WELL that I won't be arsed replying all the time. So then I have to deal with "OMG you never reply on FB OMG OMG". |

The biggest reason why I hate FB are those idiots you went to school with ten years ago. And now all of a sudden we should be 'friends' just because some pucker knows my face.
And as Sushi said 'omg u never reply', I hate the whole concept of being 'reachable' all the time... Especially with people who only need to reach me so that they can add my familiar face to their list of 'friends'. :o |
