For anyone who has Sprint, did anyone have trouble last night receiving calls or texts from 8 pm to 12 am?
I had plans with quite a few people and all of a sudden I'm sitting there thinking they all flaked on me. lol. I sent them all texts and got no reply.
Then all of a sudden at 1:30 in the morning I get a bunch of voicemails and texts at the same time. When I check all the times on the texts and voicemials they were all between the times of 8 and 12. Everyone said they called me a bunch of times and it rang but I had no mmissed calls. I'm really starting to hate Sprint!! |

I had a similar issue with Sprint a couple times. Once it was a network issue, so I couldn't do anything about it. The other time, I simply turned off the phone and removed the battery, then put it back in and started the phone up again. 30 seconds later I had several texts show up that were sent minutes/hours before. |

i was having some weird problems as well - getting a 'cannot connect to the network' error and for about 10 minutes none of my calls went through. but it was pretty shortlived for me. overall i'm pretty happy with Sprint.
weird side note - the power went out at the SkyBar last nite too...conspiracy??? lol |

| thats what happens when you sell a chunk of your cell towers in order to make some money. :) |

This happened a few weeks ago with AT & T as well. |

| Ya I was pretty pissed when I get a bunch of calls from people mad at me for flakin when I thought everyone else flaked on me. Super frustrating!! |

Both michelle & i were on on the phone and texting a lot last night w/o issue, and we are on the sprint network.
Sounds lilke it might've been a tower issue more than anything, which happens...to all carriers.
And I want to even go as far as saying that some phones will have more issues when towers are having issuest han others. Especially Treos. I'd have this same issue you are having but then Michelle, also on Sprint, wouldn't. Also just might be the tower the Treo always connected to, who knows, but it happened quite a bit on it.
If I was expecting texts/calls and weren't getting any, I did what someone else recommended....removed the battery, put it back in, start it back up and in 99% of cases I'd get the flood of texts I was expecting. You might not necessarily need to take the battery out but you have to with the Treos I had to reset them so I've always just done it with other phones too.
This all said, in my experience Sprint has the best overall coverage in both SF and in SoCAl...expect maybe parts of Orange County.
Just stay far away from T-Mobile. |

after a certain time, I dont expect calls and that would be my time frame of not getting calls.
I just looked at my texts I sent yesterday and I made a few in that time frame. I guess its just you.

well its not using other towers...that i'm aware of. they had to sell them off a while back in order to pay off debt that they had.
