| This is what happens when you have to pay devellopers' salaries for 13 years without ever getting a return on your investment. There's really nothing surprising about this news. |

| the surprising part is it took this long! its a shame really, i was looking forward to discovering just how the game would turn out to be. Any game in development this long is bound to be atrocious. See daikatana :haha: |

Seeing as how I'm a huge Duke Nukem fan, I would have loved to see this project comes into fruition, even if it would have been a pile of .
Still, there IS hope left, as Take-Two still owns the rights to the trademark...DUKE NUKEM FOREVER SHALL CONTINUE. |

DNF is PC gaming's last hurrah. And I don't mean it in that PC gaming will die financially. No, PC Gaming will flourish and expand and continue to be as dominant as ever, but not in integrity. From now on, I fear every child gamer who never had the experience of the Duke, will only take a game with regenerative health and awkwardly implemented multiplayer components as "acceptable." They outnumber us, it's just a part of the exponential equation to human growth. I knew that PC gaming would die one day, I just did not know it would come without a DNF.

goodbye true PC gaming. You will be missed. And now, to wait for HL2 Episode 3's first cel-shaded emo/anime inspired screenshot. |
