How does Benny Benassi create that sound

Hi folks,
In Benny Benassi's songs Who's Your Daddy and Satisfaction, he creates a low-pitch, guttural almost growling sound that very pleasing. Can anyone identify specifically how he creates that?

| compressed sawtooth with reverb. reverb must be used as an insert, comrpessor must be after reverb. |

2nd osc is detuned 5 or 8ct's up and at about 40% of the volume. (osc 1/2 mix knob heavily on 1). It adds that odd harmonic, then run it thru the UAD Fairchild and onto a sidechain compressor. |
